Pound. Rockout. Workout.: Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities. Equipment provided.
P90X Live: The new and improved P90X Live offers a little bit of everything. It’s an extremely effective total body workout including cardio, resistance, plyometric, stability and flexibility training. Great for beginners or advanced participants seeking a complete workout targeting all the major muscle groups. This class incorporates exercises typically found in 1-on-1 personal training, and adapts them to a group setting. Each move can be scaled to higher or lower intensity for any fitness level. Spin: A 30 minute cycling program tailor-made for anyone who can ride a bike. Ride over hills, sprint in the flats, break away from the peloton, and do interval training. Revolution matches proven riding principles and music to resistance levels, riding speeds and positions to maximize cardio training while having fun. **INSTRUCTOR WANTED**
Kettlebell Cardio: Kettlebells truly give pumping iron (or should I say, swinging iron) a whole new meaning! With Russian roots dating back to the early 1700s, kettlebells are cast iron weights that resemble a cannonball with a handle. Using the kettlebell for the main resistance training, paired with some bursts of cardio and bodyweight training, this class is bound to give you a total body burn!
HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique which involves intense bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by varied periods of low-intensity active rest, or complete rest. HIIT has been shown to elevate the metabolism for hours after your workout, essentially turning you into a fat burning machine if done correctly and with adequate intensity.
Women and Weights: If you’re looking to add some resistance training to your regimen, this class is great for you! Your weights, your pace, your results! All levels are welcome and will feel challenged and accomplished!
